Noel Fegan, was a well known junkie, on class A drugs for over 10 years. He came into the shop, an internet cafe, without the money to pay for a phone call. He made a phone call and then he told a lie. He said he did not make any phone call. He then refused to pay for the phone call, and after a short conversation with the shop owner he then punched Zhen Dong Zhao in the face and ran off. Zhen dong Zhao is a hardworking man and it was not nice being punched in the face in your own shop or workplace. Zhen Dong Zhao was never in any trouble before in his life. The drug addict and the friend who was with him were always in trouble. The friend had €20 on him but did not offer to pay for the phone call.
How would any young man react if they were punched in the face in their workplace. Zhen Dong Zhao did not start the fight. He was abused, robbed, and then assaulted. It all happened very fast. It was terrible what happened but Zhen Dong Zhao did not cause the situation. It was also terrible that all the people looking on did nothing to help or assist Dong Zhao after he was hit.
