I once felt Arabian Breeders were among the most responsible and encouraged responsibility by selective breeding practices. It denigrates the Arabian Breed when horses are bred in quantity without regard to quality. No Horseman should look to End of Life decisions with Slaughter as a choice.
These Horses did not ask to be created. We owe them better.

I have observed this over & over again. The horses that are not top quality show horses are disposed of without any concern of their whereabouts. Many get sold at auction and are purchased by kill buyers. I know that ALL breeder's are aware of this. Do they care? Apparently NOT. If you really love horses than don't breed so many! It is all about the money. SHAME ON The Arabian Horse Association.
