Foremost in my mind is the continuing threat to the maintenance of the golf course(s). The city nedds to know that our membership (nearly 800 strong) is disappointed by the dismissal, and deserve an explanation.
If the city begins to treat municipal golf as a category that wields to the budget sword, then we all pay with poorer facilities and a weaker municipality that may lose the integrity of these bastions of health & recreation.
