My siblings and I were supposed to inherit it but he died very mysteriously in 1984 and his estranged wife took everything he had and shared nothing with any of his family. Shortly before his death he called her a cold calculating witch.
He was embalmed immediately, shipped out of state within 24 hours and no autopsy ever done. I know what we think...what do you think.
Would love to see it repaired and dedicated to education for children.

I was devastated when I heard about the fire that burnt down the gift shop. My family and I considered the owners as part of our family. We worked closely with Bob Prysock and his family. I called Bob's mother granny Prysock. Between the ages of nine to sixteen my family lived either on the hill or in the rv park that was connected to Dinosaur World. My brothers and I know that park like the back if our hand and I feel it would be a great disappointment to all young children and adults for that matter to not be able to enjoy the beauty of the park. Dinosaur World was a very family oriented park and there was so much that children could learn from the dinosaurs and other nature within the park. If the park was open today I would definitely make a trip there so that my children could see what wonderful memories I had while growing up there. Please consider opening it back up so many more families can enjoy what I was so blessed to have enjoyed!

I went when I was 12 or 13 (I'm 29 now) and I would take my children there in a heartbeat, even with how rundown it is now. It's been around since the 1960s, it's been in two movies (albeit, briefly), it's in so many memories. That alone makes it worth something. It would be shame to tear it down and turn it into something that's been done a million times over. There are hardly any dinosaur parks, especially in the US. And none are on the scale of John Agar's Land of Kong.
