Each time I listen, I can't help but imagine a version of Gomer from Andy Griffith behind the radio. Someone will say something very profound and worthy of acknowledging its importance, and so many times it is responded with a ".......yeah that's something, alright...so next topic is....." I have never looked up this kind of petition type idea, but just googled "george noory rude" to see what came up and I've been laughing and so pleased at what has come up. Not sure why this has me so bothered but glad to see that others are irritated by the way this nightly show is handled as well. I wish I was listening when Art was hosting, that I keep hearing so much about but would love to see some kind of change come to this show. From basically listening to my station in birmingham all morning, afternoon, night I love every host and its content, then midnight rolls around and Gomer pops up to interview all these incredible people....

In other words, I don't tune in to here him constantly interrupting with dumb questions - I tune in to listen to a guest's information unimpeded by an interviewer. Interviewing is an art designed to bring out the best of the guest speaker. George is not nearly able to do this to the degree Art Bell could. Plus, the quality of guests has slipped and there's far too much consorship on topics of government, 9-11, military technology, etc.

Your ratings have slipped drastically since Art Bell's departure and there's a reason why...George Noory.

Enough of this putrid excuse for a radio host. He is a 'host' only in the sense that his brain is inhabited by various non-intellectual parasites, among them, but not limited to: woeful ignorance of even basic science, idiotic paranoia, medical quackery of the lowest order, scam artist promotion, fallacies of every known species, the most atrocious grammar of anyone with a nationally-syndicated show, and an overall congenital stupidity unrelieved by even a rudimentary intellectual curiosity about the subjects he purports to explore.

He is the bird flu of the airwaves, and I cannot convey the sick feeling I get whenever I hear his stupid voice. The malapropisms and other gibberings would be a source of high comedy were he not a danger to us.
