NMMI taught me the meaning of "Duty, Honor, & Achievement". It was that duty, for example, that caused me to remain at FBOP-Beaumont during hurricane Rita in 2005. Doing what is right is not always easy. As the Practice Manager for UTMB, we have held the health care contract for inmate care at this complex for over 10 years. It was a true honor to have attended the Institute from 1965-70. I am dismayed by the turmoil I see taking place at my beloved alma mater.
