Right now as the locked in plan stands, Federal & Provincial Gov't are denying an individual who wants his pension unlocked the right to financial liberty, people who are self managing there own plan should have the right to unlock 100% for there own personal reasons & should not be going hat in hand begging to get his/her own money out of a locked in plan.... this has nothing to do with ensuring a pension but more to the benefit of Gov't's and Banks using your hard earned money for there own purpose.... Again, this is financial discrimination denying a person financial liberty to choose what he/she wants to do with there own money they earned..... unlock 100%, never mind catering to Alberta laws....

Great idea! I worked in BC years ago and have money locked in a pension there. I would like to be able to access it, just like they are able to do in pretty much all the other provinces.
