This is made worse by the fact that the replacement service does not appear to be an improvement on the service that it is replacing but is in fact a lot poorer with issues surrounding the length of time it has taken for payments to the post office to actaul be made to the council. Cash payments should not require to be made in advance. Also post office cannot advise on outstand

The council will send letters stating that you have not made payment when you have as they have not received it yet. This is harrassment and bullying. For everyone this can cause a lot of stress and agro. This needs to be sorted A.S.A.P. The post office will not know how much you need to pay, is over paid or in arrears. They should stop thinking about themselves and help the public
