Mr. Drew Milakas, Oakville, Canada
My children are in Dual Track French Immersion, and I resent the belief that they are not getting the same level of profiency in French that their counterparts in Single Track are. As a bilingual, Oakville parent, I can honestly say that overall dual track is more effective in the long run. The children are able to associate with the other children from their neighborhood and if they are unable to keep up in French Immersion, then as parents we don't have to move them out or separate siblings!

Ms. Katrina Kelertas, Oakville, Canada
A progressive cap on Single Track French Immersion or a 50/50 Dual Track French Immersion school would minimize the problems that have arisen here in Halton. Those opposed to such action are either unable to see the damage their actions are causing or they incorrectly believe that with a Dual Track education their children will not have the same advantage that those in Single Track do- Newsflash, its the same curriculum either way, the outcomes are identical and no child will suffer from it!

Anonymous, Oakville, Ontario, Canada
The HDSB has to commit to a long term strategic direction of dual track schools. With this commitment they need to keep balance in the schools between the English track and French track students.

Ms. Violet Taylor, Oakville, Ontario, Canada
I believe that we all can share - share schools, teachers, books and abilities. It is what we teach our children from a very young age. What role models are we, as parents, if we can't share.

Some of my grandchildren in Halton are in Dual Track Schools, some in Oakville are in English Track Schools, some are at W.H. Morden in a gifted class which has both gifted FI students and gifted English Track Students in the same clas - they all share. They can share, why can't the rest of us?
