This happens frequently during the late shift when I ride the bus. On one particular occasion the same night my neighbor was victimized by security. One of the officers involved told me with an attitude I couldn't smoke near the building or buses. I just had leg surgery 4 months ago, wear a brace to walk and receiving physical therapy. The officer instructed me that I would have to put my cigarette out or go smoke in the designated area.. The strange part about this incident is the officer walked by several other people smoking in the same area before he got to me to tell me I couldn't smoke there. The young black man fought security after being rushed by the security & security called Metro to have the young man arrested.) These are just some of the incidents I have witnessed while waiting for the bus. There's no reason a 65yo woman such as myself should be afraid of going to jail or security. It seems as if you disagree with them everything is a struggle for power & authority with them in return calling Metro. Something needs to be down with security over there.
