When I am in Hobart with my dogs we always go for a walk on the beach.

There is a huge antidog group out there but there is also a silent group out there that are very pro dog.

OUr dogs love the beach as much as humans.

Most people find it too polluted (by sewerage, not dog waste) to use anyway. 1/3 of homes have at least one dog, why close the beach to those people because of the complaints of one.

In summer, Tasmania's climate dictates that the majority of people use the beach for swimming, etc between the current 'no dog' restrictions of 10-6 . It is only on an exceptionally hot (rare) day that people without dogs use the beach outside of this time.

Why disadvantage dog owners who make use of this beach in accordandance with current guidelines?
