Not many would deny that Aboriginal people of Australia have had injustices against them. Learning about our history, good and bad is important.
But there has been evidence to suggest that not all the children were taken from great homes. In fact, under today's guidelines, they'd STILL be taken (um, I mean STOLEN).
What about the Leaving of Liverpool ? English children taken from orphanages to settle in Australia against their will? Or are the rules different for whites?

Yes we are all sorry that children were removed, sometimes with malicious intent, sometimes with very good intent but that was a long time ago. The human race has to move ahead. To go back raises the question "How far back do we go?? This creates a very big ongoing problem that the current Australians don't want or need. I wish to say that I am sorry to HEAR & KNOW about any misfortune that ANYONE suffers (not just aboriginees) but refuse to say I am sorry to anyone who had their children forcibly removed from families who were (and some still are) incapable of caring for those children to a standard acceptable by most human beings.
There are many white children (me included) who were forcibly removed from their family due to neglect.
