have no respect for the viewers. The story lines are weak and suggest no real interest in the plausibility of what the characters are doing .
Most egregious storylines depict characters deceiving their partners about paternity of a child. Failing for 18 years to get accurate DNA to determine the father of Summer, and now another character(Chelsea) lying about the paternity of her child to the real father are shameful acts. Pretending an obviously full term baby is a premature baby is ridiculous and an insult to the viewers. The birth scenes were ludicrous as were all the reactions of those who accepted the baby as premature. Most premature babies are in incubators or at least have an extended stay in the hospital. Also the story line with Adam Newman and the rape charge is thoughtless and mean spirited. It is not a topic in this day and age that is worthy of a story line on a once great soap opera.
