So they are saying 57% of rapists they had no risk of reoffending. Um...according to statistics, they will reoffend or get rearrested within 3 years. Rapists lack impulse control. They will continue to commit crimes.

According to RAAIN "Rapists are more likely to be a serial criminal than a serial rapist.

46% of rapists who were released from prison were re-arrested within 3 years of their release for another crime.

18.6% for a violent offense.
14.8% for a property offense.
11.2% for a drug offense.
20.5% for a public-order offense."

Most sex offenders are recidivists and commit other forms of interpersonal violence. A recent study of undetected rapists, i.e. those rapists who escaped notice by the criminal justice system, found that a majority of such rapists were recidivists and committed other acts of interpersonal violence, including battery, child sexual abuse, child physical abuse, and sexual assault short of rape or attempted rape (Michigan Judicial Institute, 2002).
