Talk about inviting road rage. We are a farming community! This is not supporting our farmers.

I also concerned how the landfill will pollute the water and eventually the liners will leak into the aquifer. At 22 stories high, the landfill will be a eyesore to the valley. Why is it that the land east of the interstate considered for a landfill? It's because the working people of Avra Valley lacked the economic base compared to Dove Mountain where the wealthy live.

We have spent millions of $$ on recharge basins so we can use our allocation of CAP water and keep generations to come with quality water. The EPA states in their Federal Register that ALL liners will leak in time. There is not enough trash generated for a 600 acre landfill!!unless they plan on trucking it in from out of state??Look into Yuma's dump!! All so a few people can make a lot of money??? Something
