I've never seen the early episodes that everyone says were so good, but the newer ones leave a rancid taste in my mouth. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's actually worse that Teen Titans Go, which I thought was the cringiest it could get. Spongebob is far past it's expiration date and even my friends who used to be die-hard fans are disliking the show more with every new season. If you insist on continuing the show, at least bring back the old writers who produced content that at least some people actually had reason to like, and quit shoving kids' faces in the garbage you're producing now. If you're lucky, maybe you can salvage it's reputation and turn it into a worthwhile show. Either way, you have to know when to quit.
