Mr. Corbin Nulton, Scranton, Pennsylvania
The prohibition on cannabis has only had negative effects on this country. The consequences have been seen in adults that are looking for jobs but are limited due to having a criminal record. If one really thinks about this, it is clear how repulsive it is and is counterproductive to our goal for our economy. Less workers = a less competitive U.S. in the global economy.

The taxes received from the sale of this plant could be immense. Look at states that have legalized recreational use of cannabis as PROOF of this.

While the use of cannabis for certain medical conditions needs to be validated, the historical wide-spread use of this plant indicates that it is quite benign. There is no evidence supporting claims that it is harmful when inhaled as a vapor or consumed as an edible.

Another problem with prohibition is that it was created based on morals. While morality is an ever important component of our government, morality is not always logical, unbiased, or unanimously shared among the population. Prohibition, at the heart of it, is a limit placed on freedom. In the land of the free, home of the brave, we are free to DO as long as it does not harm others. Let's stand up.

Mr Sean Donahue, Yardley, Pa
Hey this is Sean Donahue and I wanted to let you know I am in full favor of legalizing marijuana to adults in all counties of Pennsylvania.
I'm also here to voice how unfair I feel this system has been to anyone who has had any arrest with marijuana possession. I have got gotten arrested twice now over 6 grams, the weight of a nickel coin and a little more and now have thousands in fines, my relationship with my family had seriously been impeded, months of uncertainty and doubt about my future all over a plant that has been used for thousands of years as medicine while our constitution was written on it. As some say it is what it is but not at this point. I'm sure it's been around the biggest failed policy the United States has put into action and its time we realize that we've known this and change today. Too many people are dying over this literally, mentally, emotionally, financially. I'm only 21 years old and could be a medical technician but I'm not sure now, all because I had a couple grams of a plant bud it's a shame where throwing away our future generations value to society by writing them off as unwanted because they like to relax after smoking a plant. I hope this is rea
