Calls to the idlers that staff the Embassy were fruitless. I contacted the Immigration Department back in Kenya, and sure enough they had issued a new passport and mailed it to Washington. The issue seems to be the manner in which the embassies handle their business. Very pathetic indeed! I did miss a very important business trip too.
