Aside from the obvious culinary and business knowledge which he is able to impart, he shows obvious compassion and empathy for the restaurant owners that he helps. A stark contrast to Gordon Ramsey and far preferable in my opinion. He does not berate; he helps, he instills confidence and sets them up for success. This should outweigh any past transgression.

Chef Irvine is a better chef and more show appeal than Chef Symon.

I think this new guy will flop and I think Robert should just say "Hey, I lied a little bit, and I'm sorry." Let him back because he was fantastic and no one can do it better.
