Drivers speed and make it dangerous to turn left from Pheasant onto Hopeful Church. The curve impedes good length of sight and is dangerous. This is a residential road, but because there are very few obstacles, many people who are not residents along this road use it as a throughfare.

As witnessed by the enforcement by Boone Co. at Deermeade; that intersection is listed on the National Speedtrap web site.(www.speedtrap.org/speedtraps/stetlist.asp) I think if you install stop signs at all of the intersections on Pheasant, the speed humps would have to be there also. There is very little respect for the Taxpayers on this street by anyone.Good Luck

I have repeatedly been to council meetings for a solution,however, the only action has been the "No Turn" at Cayton and the stop sign at Partridge. The issue of speed humps has been brought up before; the emergency sevices always veto that solution. The "No Turn" was a compromise that was supposed to have Police enforcement. The police never took it seriously. If you ask the police; you get a whole list of more important areas.
