1) did not meet the holiday specifications (contract conditions) provided by First Choice when we were sold the holiday
2) we were intentionally misled and cheated when we were sold the holiday for £3,636.96 in June 201
3) we were lied to (about 15-hour delay) and badly treated by First choice staff members at Manchester airport on our departure day

Our holiday was not a fun or relaxing (as promised), but certainly it was a holiday from hell...

We don't buy 4 wheel cars from the far east, and get a Tuk tuk because thats what the locals are use to. The same should apply to all products, it should be as advertised.

The worst holiday we have ever had and we also have been insulted by the pathetic amount offered in compensation for being guinea pigs for RIU and Thomson to trial their new hotel. This is not the end of the matter for us by a long shot and we stand with everyone else who experienced this. Thomson have NOT honoured their money back guarantee. We are appalled with Thomson and RIU and will not let this drop.

We were in Cuba the last week of Jan, and on our tour to the end of the penninsula, we noticed a new hotel being built. Wonder what that one's going to be? And THAT'S when we realized it was already open for guests...we love Cuba, having been there several times, but partially finished hotels should come with a warning label. Shame on you, Riu and Thomson, that hotel wasn't even CLOSE to being ready.

They have used false advertising - regarding flight times, changes in resort purchased, extra charges added to the original purchase, etc. All of this and the customer is offered no other choice or recompense by the operato until it is too late to make an informed decision. When you purchase an item, it should be received as advertised.
