Our chawl is being redeveloped by our landlord and the consent and agreements had been signed in 2010 in court. He has bought a old chawl behind us also for redevelopment, he plans to have the tenants accomodation entrance from B J Marg, we have opposed it as all our documents are of M A Road. They have offered us 50 sq.ft extra than the 320 sq.ft and also a increase in corpus fund of 150000 from 80000. This he says that he will approve if the tenants agree to his condition of using the entrance from B J Marg. I think he is fooling us as the fungible area of 35% on 320 is 432 sq.ft which we can get if we pay the construction cost at the most. Please advise us on our options.
