I don't have children of my own, but they are my children, and it hurts more than anything to have a police officer, on multiple occasions, come to my home on false complaints and tell me that my neighbors can shoot my dog if they feel "threatened". He didn't mention any of the laws or actual facts behind the statment, and it has left me in fear for their lives ever since.

At the end, my dog was cleared and the woman who falsely accused him (and told me to get him out of the park) well she is the one who left. Her dog was quite aggressive to other dogs.
Pit bulls are an easy target for people who are just having bad day or a hard time. It's just easier to blame the pit bull apparently, but it is not justifiable.
