This should start with reducing immigration in keeping with the limited carrying capacity of this country - scarce water supply, poor soils, and inadequate infrastructure.
Sydney and Melbourne are already overcrowded, affecting quality of life and driving up the cost of housing. The demand for, and cost of basic utilities like water and electricity will skyrocket if we don't address this issue.
