Their bodies undamaged by punishing physical labor over a lifetime.They seem unable, uncaring, or unwilling to perceive the degree of pain that can be induced by arduous physical actions, day in and day out for years.

I think some of the regulators should come from the ranks of chronic pain patients, giving their opinions real weight. This would add a layer of fairness and common sense to regulations.

A regulator who's traumatic career injuries are limited to paper cuts, stapler callouses, or hemmhorroids from sitting, is not qualified to evaluate the pain, mindset, despair, depression, and anxiety of someone who is in real, debilitating chronc pain, which CANNOT be defined using a one to ten scale.

Some providers are of a single mindset; to stigmatize pain patients as drug seekers and abusers. Some of them spend more time establishing dominance and authority, using intimidating and condescending questions and not patient relationships

Enough of my life has been sacrificed to illness, it's not fair that I have to suffer when I shouldn't have to. Chronic Pain is insidious and unimaginable for those who don't have it, which makes matters worse for those of us who do.

Drs. do not treat the problem because it is too expensive, they medicate the problem. In his case he is over medicated, which can result in death. The laws need to be changed allow the Dr's to treat the problem, not medicate the problem.
