I'm a single mother who was awarded a pretty penny from my daughter's father. When MEP found out he was a business owner they flat out told me that I wouldn't receive a penny as its harder for them to collect from business owners. MEP needs to step up their game as my child among many others are suffering because of people like my daughter's father. Harsher punishment should be applied. To me, if you don't pay your child support you are neglecting your child, neglect is a form of child abuse...

my ex owes 11000 in child support i have given them where he lives where he works and the work adreess and nothing he has not even doone jail time or a licence taken away

As a parent and grandparent it usually falls on us to help with the short fall of cash. It is necessary that the enforcement laws change, to benefit these children. If they do not, then having a Maintenance Enforcement Department within the Justice Department is a laugh. And that is exactly what these delinquent law breakers are doing, laughing at our inadequate system.

My Ex owes me $10,000 in child support and another $10,000 in court fees - They are unable to collect from him, he hides as a self employed plumber and no assets are in his name.....he found a loop hole and I would like it to be closed once and for all!
