Enlisted personnel are the gas and oil which make things happen to protect our freedoms and aid fellow Americans in times of natural disaster. One does not have to be in combat to make a significant contribution.It is too bad you never had the "experience" and basic training from any of the armed services and had a chance to serve preferably in a country hostile to Americans and anything to do with our way of life.If you give you such a different perspective on life knowing that the person next to you is a fellow American and understands the same English idioms in speech that those foreigners who can speech perfect English can never grasp.It doesn't matter if that person is from the KKK, FBI, CIA, Joe Smuck, Orange in color, flaming homosexual, devout Catholic, religious fanatic, former Hippie, etc.An American does not have to think the same and most don't.
