The last family to own the house the Hotchkins who left the house to the state with a provision that Dorothy and Philip who were live in servents as it were would be allowed to live in the house until their deaths. Dorothy died in 2002. I spent vitually every Thanksgiving at the house as well as many summer visits when I was growing up. It is a travesty now!
