I think in that 90 days the politician has to get out of office, there can be a public vote held for his replacement so that somewhere in that 90 days the replacement will be set to go.
There should be a No Confidence Law against all officials that swear an oath. Judges, cops, military personel...
if they go against the oath that gives them their power, then they forfeit that power and need to be removed.
