should be available in granting divorces
also. This might prevent parents who act

However, a plan also needs to be put in place for false accusations of parental alienation when there has actually been some real assault on the child, because often the real assaults are treated as parental alienation. I have been dealing with this, with my two daughters, since they were 10 and 15. They are now 25 and 21, respectively.
There mother systematically ruined my relationship with them. Two court psychologists attested to this, but there was nothing, legally, that could be done in Michigan. Their mother was threatened, by the FOC, for denial of visitation, and somewhat halted that. However, it is then the emotional turmoil, that she did to my daughters, in the safety of her home, that did all the damage. This is where PAS must be investigated and stopped.
There are so many parents of young children, who are in the beginning of facing this and are helplessly watching their children, unknowingly, become victims. It must be stopped NOW. Thanks you and God Bless!

The obvious intention to drive a wedge between the child and the other parent in hopes that the child “continues” to find fault (real or imagined) with him/her only exacerbates the child’s emotional abuse. The catastrophic long-term ill effects that will likely afflict the child for unjustifiably rejecting one of his/her parent are well documented in the literature.

Closing off “avenues of love and support” available to the child from the alienated parent and his family is cruel and selfish. By manipulating the child into erecting barriers and enlisting the child as an agent of the parental alienator's own deprivation, the alienator violates the child’s trust in a most cruel manner. Plain and simple, the alienator kidnaps the child and steals the child's soul. Therefore, s/he and those around him/her are committing child cruelty and abuse.

In the best interest of the child, federal law should regard said conduct as extreme, outrageous in character, beyond all possible bounds of decency, atrocious and utterly intolerable in a civilized society.
