Every 4 years, there is a World Scout Jamboree in a different country around the globe. In 2015, Japan was the center of the current World Scout Jamboree, and announcing that the next World Scout Jamboree will be Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia, USA. However, when Donald Trump was elected president in early 2017, he banned 7 countries from entering USA. 5 of these countries have Scout Organizations, which are Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, and Libya. The point of the World Scout Jamboree is for Scouts all over the world to connect with each other.
In Japan, there were 30,000 Scouts from 150 different countries. To help these other countries connect, we could move the World Scout Jamboree location to somewhere else. I am just a 14-year old Boy Scout in America that wants to go to the next World Scout Jamboree, and would want to connect with these Scouts in those 5 countries.
We, the undersigned, call to the World Scout Jamboree to move the location of the 2019 World Scout Jamboree in Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia, USA.
