WoodView Estates Homeowners against the Individual Advocacy Group

It is known that Individual Advocacy Group has recently bought real estate located within subdivision Woodview Estates, Menard County, Illinois, commonly known as 16272 Johnson lane, Athens, Illinois.

According to "Owner's Declaration of Restrictive and Protective Covenants for Woodview Estates, Menard County, Illinois" filed in the State of Illinois, Menard County Recorder's Office, operation of such a business is clearly prohibited. As such, Article V, Section 1 Land Use (page 11) states " The properties committed to this Declaration as described in said Plat of Subdivision shall be used for residential purposes only, and no trade or business of any kind may be carried on therein, except as to home office activities, which are allowed to be conducted on any lot, provided such activity or activities do not involve: (a) The presence of any employee, owner, supervisor, client, or customer who is not a member of the household of the lot Owner". Section 3 of Article V further states "No lot shall be used except for single family residential purposes".
