IN THE LAST DECADE THE NUMBERS OF WOMEN RIDERS HAVE MORE THAN DOUBLED. The growth continues and women riders are becoming more sophisticated and demanding. WOMEN RIDERS NEED BETTER GEAR OPTIONS, MORE SIZE OPTIONS AND EQUIVALENT QUALITY AND SAFETY PROTECTION AS MEN WHETHER RIDING THEIR OWN BIKE OR AS A PASSENGER. SAFETY IS GENDER NEUTRAL!
INDUSTRY PERCEPTION ABOUT THE SIZE AND VIABILITY OF THE WOMEN'S MOTO-GEAR MARKET IS INCORRECT BECAUSE SO MANY WOMEN HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BUY MEN'S GEAR. The current market seems small to the manufacturers because their offerings only meet the needs of a small segment of the total population of women riders and their sales numbers are reflective of that.
What is available from manufacturers and retailers simply does not meet the needs a large portion of the ACTUAL existing and growing market of women riders. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF WOMEN COULD GET THE SIZES AND FEATURES THEY ACTUALLY WANT AND NEED?!?! WHAT IF RETAILERS MADE IT EASIER FOR WOMEN TO GET THE BETTER GEAR OPTIONS THEY NEED?!?!?
We, the undersigned motorcycle riders, NEED AND WANT the following in women's motorcycle gear (in no particular order):
- MORE SIZES and BETTER ADJUSTABILITY on all wearable gear from petite to plus (or "real") sizes to help customize fit for women's shapes.
- BETTER SAFETY & PROTECTION features that are as "bomb-proof" as men's gear (armor, abrasion-resistant/waterproof/reflective materials, zippers and zipper pulls, vents).
- MORE HELMET OPTIONS in all price ranges designed for women's size and bone structure.
- MORE AND BETTER COLOR options to appeal to the rider and help riders be seen!
- GRAPHIC DESIGNS that go beyond flowers, skulls, and sparkles!
- "BIKE-TYPE NEUTRAL" STYLES that can be worn across bike genres! Let women riders be SAFE AND FASHIONABLE!
- BIKE HARDWARE OPTIONS that fit the ergonomics of smaller frames (handlebars, levers, grips, pedals, seats).
IT IS TIME TO BE RECOGNIZED!
