Beings that the congregation has not heard sufficient reasoning from the Board as to why we had to allow Jon von Ah resign we present these findings: We know Jon is a man of God, exceptionally versed in scripture, a man of prayer and dedication to God. He is in control of his family and has well mannered children. He is the husband of one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, humble. He has been in the same church 30 years. We know him well, and his love for the congregation here at Bethel is unmistakeable. All these things far out weigh any shortcomings he may have.
We the undersigned are petitioning the Board of Bethel Christian Center to have Pastor Jon von Ah brought before the congregation to be voted on as Lead Pastor here at Bethel Christian Center
