The homeowners living on either Palo Vista, Valerie or Kingridge Dr. have experienced emergency situations because of the flooding of the pond located on Via Del Robles near Gird.
Several times per year during heavy rainfall, many homeowners are not able to get to their home or out of their home because the flooding of the pond did not allow passage to the east and to the west the Road Association on Via Del Robles had the gate on Via del Robles (Westerly gate) closed and locked.
The only way to gain access is by way of the gate remote.
The road association of Via Del Robles is not granting permission for homeowners living on Palo Vista, Valerie and Kingridge to purchase a remote control to operate the road gate on Via Del Robles (west).
Therefore, we the homeowners living on either Palo Vista, Valerie or Kingridge Dr. petition that the gate at the end of Via Del Robles (west) either be removed or in lieu of that, that the remotes that operate that gate be made available to those homeowners, who in an emergency situation are not able to pass by way of Via Del Robles (east).
The remote should be offered for the same reasonable amount as the members of the road association have paid.
