The Vinings Estates Board issued a new swim instructor policy scheduled to take effect June 1, 2012.
The board is limiting private swim instruction to 15 hours a week for the entire neighborhood (with no weekend hours permitted).
Residents will be required to schedule lessons through a web site no more than one week in advance and an additional fee will be assessed for every lesson scheduled.
Because of the board's stringent requirements there are currently zero (0) private instructors approved to teach lessons.
We, the undersigned request that the Vinings Estates Board repeal the new swim instructor policy posted in May, 2012 and the policy in effect for the summer of 2010 should be reinstated (with the understanding that private instructors carry a $1 Million Dollar liability insurance policy per State Farm's mandate and to share the pool in accordance with the neighborhood policy).
We request this change be made effective on or before June 14, 2012 (the date of the next VE HOA board meeting).
