We are soldiers from Ghana and as part of the UN membership, we do go on peace support operation. While in Liberia serving with the United Nation Mission in Liberia, the ebola pandemic break out.
The UN thought it wise that countries serving should be paid ebola risk allowance since it was dangerous whiles in that country. The senior representative then, miss caren langreen appended her signature on all relevant document to that effect. A list of troops contributing countries who qualified for such allowances were also listed and our ghanbatt happened to be among that tall list. All relevant documents to this are still intact.
Our ebola allowances are still on the line and nobody seems to be telling us anything. We need our toil and sweat to be paid to us.
Since ghanbatt 20 has received a portion of the three months approved, the remainder is for ghanbatt 19.
