Recently, active Cyberathlete Amateur League competitor, Sydney "redrum" Jim was banned from the league for alleged hacking violations. The problem is, that the hacking incident did not occur in an official counterstrike match, rather in a late night pug against low-tier players. The incident was intended for laughs and kicks for the upper caliber players who participated in the pug. This did not harm anyone, it did not affect CAL in any way. Sydney "redrum" Jim is a respected player in the Counterstrike community who attends LANs within Texas and is an active competitor at high competition levels. He has played for countless of well-known teams at a competitive level, such as: BiO, eminence, v2m, CK3, AA, a4o, up, ATF, and more. Sydney "redrum" Jim is a hard working Counter-strike player, one deserving to be given the opportunity to continue playing at a high competitive level. How would you feel if you got banned for one year when just making lower-tier players cry about cheating for fun? Many people cheat for their amusement late at night when everyone's bored. It does not affect any results pertaining to CAL at all. Getting banned for something as small as using third party programs in a late night pug after hours of boredom is not reasonable.

The Cyberathlete Amateur League is supposedly the best league pertaining to Counter-strike that the world wide web has to offer. Many prefer to play in CAL due to it's professionalism. Sydney "redrum" Jim deserves another chance, he did not hurt anyone, he did not disrespect anyone, all he did was have a little bit of fun towards the late hours with friends. Many of the experienced participants of CAL enjoy playing with Sydney "redrum" Jim and wish to continue playing with him. He has a good personality, he is fun to play with, and he has a lot of skill. It would be a shame to many players to deprive them of playing with Sydney "redrum" Jim.

Please, unban redrum and allow him to further pursue his path to counterstrike greatness.

We, the undersigned friends of Unban Sydney "redrum" Jim, would like to petition Frank Nuccio, CAL staff, and other persons related to the league ban to reconsider the ban of this talented and established player. It is understood that redrum was having a good time during late hours and was allegedly caught cheating, although it did not harm anyone, affect results of any official match, or show disrespect or unsportmanlike conduct. Not allowing redrum to participate in CAL may hurt CAL's level of competitiveness and disappoint high level invite CAL players. Please Frank Nuccio & the powers that be in CAL staff, reconsider and let this incredibly active/talented player continue to keep the levels of competition high for many months to come. Don't let the many participants of CAL down. Please reconsider the ban of Sydney "redrum" Jim.
