I live on a small island called Portland. I moved in 2 years ago .... I have since had a car crash into my wall, my cat killed and have witnessed many accidents coming off Chesil beach and heading up to Tophill.
I feel cameras and warning signs need to be put in place as there is a new school (infants) and children use the crossing that is just off a roundabout and is a blind corner.
Since living in my new build home i have seen many accidents a car drove into my wall missing my daughters downstairs bedroom by inches (1st january 2014) and many a family pet including my own has been hit and killed ( 27th feb 2015) today a crash into bollourds (28th march 2015).
We the undersigned call to the council to please help make our roads from Chesil Beach all the way up and around our island in particular Victory road.
We are asking for warning signs to be placed, and a lower speed limit with the use of cameras to fine those who speed around the bend.
