It is noted that the Solomon Islands Mission Office of Seventh Day Adventist Head Quarters in Honiara has decided that Teachers' Postings for 2016 for all the schools comes under the canopy of the Adventist Mission.
It is also noted that the Palm Drive International School in particular had all its teachers transferred to various mission schools leaving the entire school to a complete new administrative and teaching successors from classes 1 to 6.
The parents of the students are now seriously concerned on the gaps left by the predecessors and the capacity for the successors to close those gaps during this transitional period. Most parents of the 2016 grade 6 students now demanded a senior teacher of the current composition be maintained or a similar experienced and currently teaching personnel be considered.
With much deliberations and consultation within the parents' association of Palm Drive International School, the parents hereby request the mission to consider the followings:
1. Maintain the current Grade 6 teacher Mr. Keith Timothy to be the Head of School and teacher to grade 6 students.
2. That throughout the respective classes within the school, standards be maintained and qualified and respectable teachers be appointed.
3. That Palm Drive International School will always maintain its name as Adventist International school upholding well respected philosophies and principles.
