• During Budget 2017, our Prime Minister cum Minister of Finance Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced that our local Internet Service Providers in Malaysia have promised that the speed of fixed broadband will be doubled up with reduction of 50% in price within the next 2 years.
• While Malaysia Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will be providing RM 1 billion to improve the coverage and quality of broadband Internet in Malaysia. The objective of this effort is to achieve 20Mbps access throughout the country.
We, the undersigned, as the residents of Rasah, Negeri Sembilan, call on Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), to expand its Unifi broadband coverage in all areas within Rasah, Negeri Sembilan, in conjunction with the federal government's efforts to improve the speed of broadband services in Malaysia, and in line with the launching of Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) Project whereby Rasah is one of the strategic areas within such Project.
