The Park Ridge airport commission has failed to accomplish their mission.
Their failed attempt to seek a supplemental EIS is the final straw that has broken the backs of the 6,000 voters who want to seek volunteer injunctive relief.
The continued disregard for the night time flights as well as their failure to stand up while hiding under the blanket of political correctness - is enough to demand their resignations.
By not doing their homework - - we have lost even more ground after their trip to California area while on our dime and then falling in love with a former FAA Atty - who in the final analysis --cannot represent the city to the FAA.
Finally, the attitudes and talking down towards to residents while failing to see the " over identification " with themselves in not getting the volunteer job done ..is proof positive enough!
Today, we the Impacted people of Park Ridge seek the resignations of those Park Ridge airport commissioners.
Today, we also seek the combined support by the city council to dissolve the PROAC--on the next available action plan- agenda item for a full vote.
We also seek the formation of a new relationship with the ONCC and FAA by an appointed city alderman who's job will be to represent all the people - all of the time to the ONCC and most of all the FAA.
