In reviewing the new plans for the intersection of Hammond Road (Timber Drive)/US 70, we strongly agree that Alternative 1, the Continuous Flow Intersection, would be the most desirable option; however, we are opposed to the adjustments that would be made to the intersection of US 70 and Jessup Drive. The new right-turn only traffic pattern would be detrimental to those who need to turn left from our property onto US HWY 70 E. Traffic comes and goes from our property seven days a week. We strongly urge the NC DOT to allow the intersection at US 70 and Jessup Drive to continue to be fully operational.
We, the undersigned, call on the NC DOT to utilize Alternative 1 Continuous Flow Intersection at US 70 and Hammond Rd (Timber Drive), and to allow the intersection at US 70 and Jessup Drive in Garner, NC to continue to be fully operational.
