Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been officially cancelled by FOX. But the story doesn't have to end there. Warner Bros. has a gem on its hands with TSCC. The show ended, however, with a finale that, while epic, created more questions than answers, and left many fans craving more.

FOX is not the only network that airs TSCC; it's broadcast in over 70 countries, and has a very large international fan base. Season One was also extremely successful in terms of DVD sales. Season One and Two also had extremely high DVR rating percentages. All these factors indicate that the show is still a viable profit making tool for Warner Bros, even if it is not for FOX.

Warner Bros have created a division of their company for direct to DVD media, and TSCC - with a large, dedicated, international fanbase - would be a perfect vessel for their direct to DVD realm. A 13 episode direct to DVD production of a Season 3 would also be produced entirely by Warner Bros, and would negate the issue of the license fee, which may have put off potential cable networks from taking on the show.

In addition, because FOX is no longer interested in Terminator, many foreign networks such as Virgin 1 (UK) and Space (Canada) would still air the show if it were produced, even in direct to DVD format, which would add to the revenue generated by a direct to DVD third season. SciFi did this with two Stargate SG1 DVD movies, and they were both aired frequently on Sky One (UK).

We, the undersigned, respectfully urge Warner Bros not to simply allow Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles to fade away.

We implore you to keep the show alive for a third season, in some form or another. If a cable network is not a viable option, then please do consider renewing the show in the form of a straight to DVD third season.

We who sign this petition feel a direct to DVD third season would be a viable product for Warner Bros, and we would be willing to pay a little extra to cover the costs of a straight to DVD Season 3 to keep the story going, or at the very least, a feature length finale to provide closure.
