B . GENERAL NEED

Our communities have been in dire need of guidance and direction for both our children and adolescents. We would like to provide guidance in developing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for their future successes in life. In partnering with the Children’s Healthy Living program (CHL), T.A.S.A is inspired to provide services to our community in many various ways and categories. Our mission as a Non-Profit organization is to “Empower the villages of Tanapag, Achugao, San Roque, and As Matuis (other village communities can participate). This organization’s main focuses are in the categories of Health & Wellness, Leadership, Citizenship, Education, Team-Building, Inter-personal Skills, and Sports activities-competitions.

In addition, our purpose is to help each child achieve his or her goal. We seek to help prepare them to continue to prosper in education and earn a diploma, and take a place as a productive citizen in our society that is rapidly becoming an integral part of the world wide community. We believe it is our mission to establish, and maintain a learning environment in which all children have the opportunity to develop the competencies to be successful in life. T.A.S.A can build and foster a community of learners however, we too must be enthusiastic, and empowered to ensure that each child fully develops and practices character and citizenship in their daily lives. This program will be accessible to all citizens interested regardless of which village community they are from. It will also take into account the fact that our island communities are ethnically diverse, and must foster an understanding not only of the cultures of the Commonwealth, but of the culture of other peoples and nations as well.

C. GOAL:
T.A.S.A aims to develop competitive environments in academics, Health & Fitness, Leadership, Citizenship, Team-Building, Inter-personal Skills, and Sports competitions. It is our goal to Empower our village communities.
