Education is not only the cornerstone of American Exceptionalism, education is critical for our kids to achieve their potential to be successful and productive citizens.
The citizens in November used their votes to send a message that it is time for new direction and a fresh approach in governing the school district.
Join us in showing community support for the Thompson School Board!
We all know change is never easy and requires commitment, hard work, teamwork and all seven board members must work together for the benefit of the students they serve.
The unknown and resistance to change can often cause us all to oppose or as the case is now, vehemently oppose a new direction.
As a member of the community I support the new Board and believe the board should be given the chance to make a difference.
And what I ask of the Board in return, is to communicate their vision, treat me with respect and more importantly treat fellow Board members with respect.
It is time to move forward so that the Thompson School District can become a shining star in educational excellence.
