Working in conjunction with property developers Kier, Lidl are proposing a new neighbourhood foodstore on Plot 73, Walworth Business Park, Andover. The subject site is situated close to the roundabout junction of Churchill Way and Columbus Way. The proposed Lidl site of 2.39 acre is currently vacant and has been for some time. The proposal forms part of a wider development which includes a proposed Starbucks Drive Thru and further 3,000 sq ft retail unit which would all be accessed via a new shared bellmouth entrance off Columbus Way.
The Lidl store would be a new single-storey building of 2,125m² with a sales area of 1,325m². The proposed development will also provide 127 parking spaces situated to the front and side of the store including disabled spaces and parent and child spaces close to the store entrance. There will also be an area for cycle parking.
Further information and a full set of development plans and reports are available on our development website at www.andover.lidl.co.uk
