#City & Town Planning
Local Planning Authority
United Kingdom

Lidl have exchanged contracts to purchase a site off of Solent Way, Whiteley, subject to grant of planning permission. We are delighted to be in a position to commence consultation with the local community on Lidl’s proposed development of a new neighbourhood discount foodstore.

The proposed Lidl site is just under 2.14 acres and is situated in a prominent position fronting Rookery Avenue to the west of Whiteley Way. The site is previously undeveloped but the principle of development has already been established under allocation policy number S.14 within the Winchester District Local Plan Review 2006.

Our proposal will see construction of a new Lidl foodstore to the company’s latest specification. The new specification store is larger than the older generation stores that you may be familiar with. It will be modern and efficient, offering a light spacious and attractive shopping experience for customers.

We will shortly be publishing a full set of development plans on our development website (www.whiteley.lidl.co.uk).

We, the undersigned, fully support Lidl’s application for the provision of a neighbourhood discount foodstore at Solent Way, Whiteley.

We agree to our petition data being used by Lidl to lobby local Councillors and Winchester City Council to aid progression of the planning application.

Address data may also be used to provide updates on the progress of the development / planning process. Information will not be passed to a third party, nor be used for sales purposes.

The Support Lidl in Whiteley petition to Local Planning Authority was written by Lidl Southampton and is in the category City & Town Planning at GoPetition.
