Stop your abusive policy Astro

Dear Astro,

We heard of 1Malaysia, but why only 1Astro?!

This petition is a feedback from good old Malaysian who enjoy your programs, but is frustrated with your pricing. Recently, we received another notice of price increase.

We are also frustrated of your monopoly of the cable or satellite TV of this country, but that is the topic of another petition. This is not your fault. This is the fault of a lame system nurturing a dinosaur like you and many others.

We want change!

We are requesting immediate action
1. to revert to old pricing
2. to review the flexibility of pricing scheme to further reduce cost of viewing while not compromising on quality.

The audience of this petition is advised to cancel subscription to Astro, or reduce the subscription to basic package if no concrete action taken before 30-September-2009.

This is not a threat, but the viewer's choice NOT to be taken by hostage by Astro's policy that is totally uncompetitive, abusive and disregarding the basic right of Malaysian enjoying quality service at a reasonable cost.
