For our Media Lit class we were assigned to create a petition against a major conglomerate, and we chose the wolrd's largest media conglomerate Time Warner.
Among its subsidiaries are AOL, New Line Cinema, Time Inc., Time Warner Cable, HBO, Turner Broadcasting System, The CW Television Network, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Cartoon Network, CNN, and DC Comics.
In 1983 Time Warner bought 48% of the pittsburgh pirates. The pirates have not won a world series after this. Where is all of Time Warners 50 Billion dollars going? Time Warner in other words is a monopoly. Time Warner has taken away the quatity from its products. There needs to be a stop to Time Warners rein of terror.
We ask for 50 people to join this group and stop the destruction of Time Warner.
We, the undersigned, are calling for a stop of the media conglomerate of Time Warner by releasing its sub corporation and regaining it, and its other companies quality or work.
